Folds down to a minimum width of 344mm x height 250mm x length 344mm, with a maximum expanded size of 480mm x height 755mm x length 397mm.
The hifold is the first-of-its-kind to carry certification for both European (ECE R44.04) and US ( FMVSS 213) safety standards with a patented design that optimises the seat belt fit of the lap belt and shoulder belt of a vehicle.
With a four-layer design and six impact protection zones located on either side of the hip, shoulder and head area, the hifold is made using advanced lightweight materials such as a polypropylene shell and EPE (expanded polyethylene) foam. EPE more energy absorbent, more elastic than other foams used in traditional booster seats and has strong cushioning and shock proofing qualities.

From what age can my child use a hifold?
All children should continue to use a car seat with a five-point harness for as long as possible. Only when they have outgrown the height and weight limit of their current five-point harness car seat and when they can sit in the booster seat properly (without slouching under the lap belt, moving the shoulder belt under the arm or behind the back, leaning forward or sideways or moving out of position) so the vehicle belt remains properly positioned for the entire duration of each journey should caregivers consider moving children on to a hifold.
Taxi Baby Co. recommends children should remain in a harnessed car seat until at least four years old.
What height and weight range should my child be in to safely use the hifold?
The hifold fits a child of 15-36kg; 102cm to 150cm height who is also a minimum of four years old.
What colours are the hifold available in?
The hifold is available in two color combinations - Racing Red and Slate Grey.
Are the hifold seat covers removable and washable?
The hifold seat covers can be wiped down for spot cleaning and can be removed and machine washed if necessary.
What is the difference between a mifold and a hifold?

Does the hifold recline?
While the hifold seat back is designed to adjust slightly to fit different vehicle seat back angles, the hifold seat itself does not have a recline feature.
What is the weight and dimensions of a hifold?
The hifold weighs 4.5kg. It folds down to a minimum width 344mm x height 250mm x length 344mm to fit in a small carry bag. When unfolded and expanded, it measures a maximum of 480mm x height 755mm x length 397mm.
Does the hifold use a LATCH or ISOfix system?
The hifold is a high-back booster seat that uses the vehicle installed adult seat belt to restrain the child and to hold the seat in place. It does not use a LATCH or Isofix systems.
Is this FAA compliant for airline travel?
The hifold is not suited for use on aircraft as it requires the use of a lap and shoulder seat belt system to hold your child and the hifold securely in place.

CARFOLDIO, THE MANUFACTURER OF THE HIFOLD® FIT-AND-FOLD BOOSTER SEAT WARRANTS ITS PRODUCTS TO THE ORIGINAL RETAIL PURCHASER AS FOLLOWS:
hifold is warranted against defective materials or workmanship for one year from the date of original purchase (or as required by local laws). Proof of purchase is required. The exclusive remedy for this warranty is that Carfoldio will, at its option, provide repair, replacement or a refund for your purchase. Carfoldio reserves the right to discontinue or change fabrics, parts or models, or to make substitutions. To make a claim under this warranty, you must return your hifold to us by requesting a valid "Return Authorisation Number" from the Customer Service Center nearest you. This warranty does not include damages which arise from negligence, misuse or use not in accordance with the product’s instruction manual. The use of non Carfoldio covers, inserts, toys, accessories, or other tightening devices is not approved by Carfoldio. Their use could cause hifold to fail the Safety Standards it has been accredited by, or perform worse in a crash. Their use automatically voids this warranty.
LIMITATION OF DAMAGES
The warranty and remedies as set forth above are exclusive and in lieu of all others, oral or written, express or implied. In no event will Carfoldio, or the retailer or on-line marketplace selling hifold®, be liable for any damages, including incidental or consequential damages, arising out of the use or inability to use this product.
LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTIES AND OTHER WARRANTY TERMS AND LOCAL LAWS
Any implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, shall be limited to the duration and terms of the express written warranty. Some Countries/States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights, which vary depending on the Country. Carfoldio does not authorise any person to create for it any other warranty, obligation, or liability in connection with this product.
Jon, the inventor of mifold the Grab-and-Go Booster Seat, and his four children are often on the road. He wanted to make a booster seat that was both really lightweight and portable yet really durable and strong. Parents could take it everywhere, so that children can be safer wherever they went, regardless of whose car they were being driven in.

We ship our products worldwide. All countries are set up in our online store so you’ll receive cost and delivery estimates when you enter your address.
We offer two international shipping options: Registered Mail and Express Shipping via DHL Express (this is the fastest, most reliable and dependable courier we've ever used), and three local shipping options: Express Delivery via Ninja Van, Standard Shipping via Ninja Van or Singapore Post, or self-collection.

Please note that this version of the hifold cannot be legally used or sold in Australia.
We ship within Singapore. We offer:
- standard shipping (4-6 working days); $6 for orders under $49; free for orders over $49
- self-collection from our warehouse*, and
- next-day delivery; $10 for orders under $49; $6 for orders over $49
Please note that Ninja Van does not deliver our orders on Sundays, Mondays or Public Holidays. Our daily order processing cut-off time is 5pm. All orders after 5pm will be processed the next business day.
Please note: To avoid shipping delays, please provide a local contact number when prompted upon checkout. If there is a failure in delivery, Ninja Van will attempt a second delivery free of charge. If this delivery is unsuccessful, your parcel will be returned to us and we will then contact you - you may choose to do a self-collection from our warehouse at this point, or pay for re-delivery. (Re-delivery costs will vary by parcel dimensions.)
Please note that while we will do everything in our power to use the best service we can find and make sure your delivery runs smoothly, the delivery component is out of our control. You may provide instructions to our courier if no one is home, we'll pass the information on to the courier.
We ship around the world with DHL Express and Registered Mail. In our experience, DHL Express is an incredibly reliable service provider and shipments are handled by DHL Express personnel from beginning to end. Of all the couriers that we have access to in Singapore, DHL is the fastest shipping option humanly possible. We have found that local in-country postal services (Registered Mail) can be less reliable than DHL Express and delays should be expected.
How much will it cost?
When you reach the checkout page of our website, prices for your selected country will be shown. If you aren't seeing a DHL Express option, please double check your post code and address.
How long will it take?
DHL Express transit times are typically 1-4 business days globally, from dispatch date and we aim to dispatch all orders within 1 business day. Registered Mail transit times are shown at check out, but based on our experience, please expect delays.
Please note that estimated transit times are based on efficient processing at local customs checkpoints. Any delays at customs is solely accountable to the local customs operations and it completely beyond the control of DHL, the postal service provider and Plane Pal Asia.
Will I have to pay import taxes and/or duties upon delivery?
For orders sent by Registered Mail, the shipping cost generally includes prepaid taxes and duties so there should be no additional payment required upon delivery. Please note that each country's local postal service handles import taxes and duties differently and you may be requested to pay additional fees and charges. If you do, please let us know so that we can update this page for the benefit of other customers.
For orders sent by DHL Express, the shipping cost excludes taxes and duties applicable in the destination country and these will be charged to you, by DHL, upon delivery. Please note that import taxes and duties are the sole responsibility of your country's customs department and we have absolutely no control over the amount nor payment methods applied.
